“Reno Lens” began as a Facebook Group created by the City of Reno in 2014, but has since grown into so much more. We’d like to thank the Reno Lens community for their incredible contributions to this grassroots marketing effort that showcases the beauty of The Biggest Little City. There are several ways to get involved:
View the Reno Lens blog series on the City of Reno’s blog at AroundtheArch.com.
Search and use #RenoLens on your favorite social media channel. The Instagram feed, for example, can be viewed on our blog at AroundtheArch.com.
View and share the digital version of Reno Lens: BELIEVE, a book that would not be possible without the incredibly talented photographers who submitted their original work to grace the pages of this special publication. This inaugural edition of Reno Lens focuses on Reno’s colorful seasons: one of the many characteristics that make The Biggest Little City a great place to call home, or visit.
The BELIEVE sculpture, which originated at Burning Man and was dedicated into the City of Reno’s public art collection on December 31, 2015, is featured on the cover. The sculpture has helped to reignite civic pride in Reno, and throughout this book you will read why the Mayor, her fellow City Council Members, and the City Manager uniformly agree that this is the perfect time to “believe in Reno.” Cover photo by Neil Lockhart
